Fab 'n' Funky Faces uses only the highest quality paints and glitters, which are all specifically designed for use on the skin.

All products are EU, EEC and FDA approved

All paints are water-based and can be removed easily from skin and clothing, using plenty warm water and a little mild soap.

All glitters are cosmetic grade polyester, there is no metallic content and are safe for use on skin and around eyes.

We have strict standards of good hygiene, using a fresh, clean sponge for each face. Our good quality brushes are soft on the skin, not scratchy and are cleaned regularly "on the job" and also washed with very hot water and specialist cleanser between engagements.

Face paint like any cosmetic product may cause a skin reaction in those who are sensitive to the ingredients used to make it.

If a reaction occurs, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water.

Fab 'n' Funky Faces cannot accept liability for adverse reactions to the products used. If sensitivity is a potential problem, please let the painter know and a patch test can be carried out (at least 30 minutes) prior to being painted.

Face paints should only be worn for 2 - 3 hours before being removed with plenty warm water and a sponge or facecloth. Baby wipes are not recommended.

Never allow children to go to bed with a painted face. This also applies to adults!!

Fab 'n' Funky Faces will not paint babies or children under 2 years. Children between 2 and 3 years will only be painted at the artist's discretion.

Only willing children will be painted, those who are crying or sleeping will not be painted

Adult consent is needed before children can be painted. At private parties, the host/party booker will be deemed responsible for informing parents that face painting is available and they will also be responsible for informing the face painter if any child is unable to be painted.

For hygiene reasons, anyone who has a runny nose, cold sores, conjunctivitis, any infectious or weeping skin conditions, or who appears to be ill, will be unable to be painted.

We are booked to paint faces, not to supervise children and / or pets. Parents are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their own children at all times!

There must be at least one responsible adult in attendance at all times at private parties.

At public events children should not be left unattended or to queue alone.

Fab 'n' Funky Faces has a Zero Tolerance policy on violent, abusive or offensive behaviour. We will not paint any signs, symbols or pictures that could be deemed racist,obscene, sexist,sectarian or inflammatory in any way.

The artist will always have the final say on who is to be painted.
